Great

Great absolutley flawless. I would have downloaded it if it were not for the unnecessary and slightly annoying vocals at the beginning. The orchestral sounds were all high quality and the bass that repeated over and over didn't get annoying (thats a first for DnB). The drums were also well put together.

Breed responds:

Annoying? hmmm...well do you know what Burning Man is? This is custom made for the purpose of being a set opener for a show there, sooo the vocals are the most important part. Just think about all the vocals in Pendulum tracks, they are corny as hell; This at least is a real statement, haha.

Thank you for the kind words though. The final version should be pretty epic.

Cheers!

Great

The drums are high quality and lay down a good beat. The piano and the bass went very well together. I like the panning that went on when that first synth came in at the very beginning. Can't thing of anything to improve on. Maybe check out some of my stuff when you get the chance.

Haha

Drums are poorly used and are thrown in randomly. The strings get really annoying and don't go with the piano chords. Some of it was ok, but I'm not sure how your stuff keeps making top five.

Cuzone responds:

If you think anything here is random, then you know why I get top 5 and you don't.

haha

this is a strange one. Sounds like one of the songs I made when I was starting out (except this is better). The only thing I can find to say constructively is that it is a little too distorted which, I think, ruins the overall feel. Also as the guy said below me it is a little repetitive. Maybe check out my stuff :) keep going

Glomple responds:

Thanks for the review as well. :D

Yes, the synths got messed up for some reason when I converted the file type. They were quite clear when I made it.

I consider myself just starting, I've only really started to understand Ableton within the past 3 months.

Very nice

I really like the track.

The Intro in the beginning was a little unappealing.
When you first brought in the drums in the beginning I was thinking they could have been better but then I realized that they fit in perfectly at the climax.
Also the chiptune thing got fairly annoying after listening to it for the whole song but I guess it fits in with the whole "cyber" theme to this song.

Overall good track

Thanks for the review!

Nice

Its good and all but it seemed that at certain times the beat was out of sync

Good

This is definitely good even though you just took samples from some movie.
Again you this has the same problem as the other song of yours that I reviewed:
The drums overpower everything. You probably meant for that to happen but at the quieter parts they are too much compared to the other instruments.

Good job. Better that your other one

CKC2009 responds:

its hip hop, the drums are supposed to be loud, !

Almost Perfect

I love the variety you used!
It isn't just the same thing over and over again.
I think in the middle when things kinda settle down, the drums should have not been so loud compared to the strings.
I also think you picked a great clap but a not-so-great kick.
Everything works out anyways so good job!

DCF responds:

Thanks for the criticism. I just kinda see it the other way round. I like the kick but i hate the clap. ;)

its good

Very unoriginal yet somehow the instruments made is sound more high quality.

It's the same chord progression throughout the ENTIRE song (really annoying)
Also you use that same snare used in every hip hop song known to man
The one thing that made this stand out were the instruments. Not the misplaced distorted synth, but the strings. They were excelent!

CKC2009 responds:

most god dma songs in the world are same chord progression. dam!
